As we look at the patient cycle for an office visit, the workup time is drastically reduced. This is a direct result of the phone triage form and protocols from your doctor. Using the information from the triage form as a starting place helps eliminate duplication of work. Depending on what information your Patient Communication Facilitator (PCF) was able to obtain to during the patient’s initial call to the office will determine how much more information you will need to collect.
