Endocrine system: What is it? A system of glands that produce regulatory hormones. 

How can it affect the eyes? Diabetic patients may have fluctuations in their vision associated with sugar levels. May be difficult correcting to 20/20, and are susceptible to sight threatening diseases. 

Mrs. Davis, do you take any medications or are treated for diabetes, whether it's Type 1 or Type 2, thyroid dysfunctions, or any hormonal dysfunctions that you take medication for?
