Welcome to course three, planning and preparing for your day. So, planning and preparing for your day ensures that you will have a positive patient workflow as it relates to patient reception and front desk area. Now, you will want to go over these recommendations, which are best practices, they’re tried-and-true, but you will want to review them with your doctor and/or your practice administrator to make sure that you have everything written down specifically for your role in your practice.Â
Do note, in order to have a winning culture and to feel confident in what we do, we highly recommend that you have written procedures. Guessing at what you’re going to do, what is your next step, allows for us to not feel like we're in a winning position and it doesn't allow us to manage our time. So, let’s begin planning and preparing for our day with opening procedures.
