Introduction

Let’s talk about lensometry, specifically it’s place in preliminary testing. It is helpful for everyone in the office to learn how to neutralize lenses. Before refractive status is evaluated, it is important that you obtain the patient’s previous prescription and/or presenting prescription. This lets us know what the patient is currently wearing, determining visual performance and patient’s success or unsuccessfulness of a prescription.
