Okay, you've just finished clarity and the SWOT analysis. You've defined your clinic hours, operating hours, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for your staffing situation.
Remember, this is a great time to think about redirecting your future. For example, do you currently have a scheduler or that patient communications coordinator that takes that schedule by the horns and is responsible and does nothing but make sure you have patients on your schedule? Instead of hiring your second front desk position, you might think about instead hiring your scheduler!
Another avenue you can take to progress would be the clinical optician model. Instead of hiring a technician, is it time to hire your first clinical optician? Whatever path you choose and whatever solution you arrive at, just brainstorm, problem solve, know your numbers, and go for it to build your dream team.
