Wear Time

Equally important is the recommended wear time that is to be determined by the doctor. Some patients may be on a progression schedule as they acclimate to lenses, especially if they are new to contact lenses or new to a brand. Not only do you need to know the wear time of a patient, it is important to know the replacement schedule to maintain healthy wear.

Here is a grid for general purposes to know how many lenses are in a box and how many boxes you need for a year's supply. This will probably one of the first things you learn as you familiarize yourself with contact lenses.
