Now that you’ve learned about the most common marketing channels for an eye care practice, determine the channel you’ll begin focusing on. Eventually, you may find yourself marketing your practice on all of these channels, but I encourage you to master one channel at a time. This helps from overwhelming yourself and your team. It also allows you to track your successes and adjust the channels that aren’t performing as well as you’d like.
There are options to outsource channels such as your website, search engine optimization, email marketing, and advertising. If this is the route you choose to go, please ensure you are utilizing a reputable company that will provide you with the results you're seeking! After you’ve done your research to find the appropriate company to outsource, be sure you’ve communicated your goals and it’s something they will able to provide. Then schedule check-ins to ensure your goals are being met.
In the next few marketing courses, we’ll discuss each of these channels in greater detail and provide you with an understanding of industry benchmarks so you will be confident in setting your marketing goals and determining the most appropriate marketing channels for your target audience.
