Course Objectives

Part of managing the patient schedule effectively is knowing how to handle incoming calls from patients who are having some kind of problem with their eyes or their vision. You want to be professional, confident, and caring while speaking to these people who may be very uncomfortable or very worried about their symptoms. The process of figuring out what these patients need and how to work them into your patient schedule is called phone triage and you are going to really appreciate the skills and the tools we are going to cover in this lesson.
