Exam Room

Review your exam room protocols. I’ve included one here as an example for a comprehensive exam. Office visit testing protocols will be determined by your doctor. Due to time constraints, limited testing will be done on a case by case basis. Your objective in the exam room is to create a comfortable setting for the patient until the doctor joins your exam, while charting any relevant information for the doctor. Never guarantee any improvements or outcomes by the doctor. We cannot tell the patient that everything will be okay, or that we can fix their problem. We can however, offer sympathy for the situation. ​
