International Classification of Disease

Now, you’ve heard me talk about diagnosis code as we move through this course and what this stands for or signifies is the International Classification of Disease or ICD or what is currently known as ICD-10. The ICD-10 is a tool used most commonly to identify diseases or disorders or symptoms that could indicate the reason for a patient being seen and charges being billed.
