Okay, let's take a look at those objectives. 5 STAR patient reception is a seven-course series that's designed to provide you with basic knowledge so that you can have the confidence in your role as patient reception coordinator. First, we’re going to look at how important is your role, let’s define it. Next, we’re going to take a look at the importance of your star role within the practice, followed by how to efficiently plan and prep for the day. Then we’ll work on developing those time management skills as well as we'll discuss the importance of everyone being on the same page and how we utilize team huddles to be effective. then we'll take a look at the full front desk patient cycle and then we'll wrap up with those tools and technologies that will help you be in a winning position. 

As with all Optometric Success programs or OSC, we have pre-recorded all of the courses so that you can go back and preview as often as needed as well as we’ve provided assessments for you to take as we move through the course as well as associated handouts.
